Interface artifact template

Minimum public object for an interface branch-budget claim.

Minimum public object required before interface branch-budget language carries more than organizer status.

Scope rule. Filling this template does not validate an interface claim. It only makes the required channel map inspectable.
Status effect. A completed public artifact can make the route eligible for a named evidence posture, such as public-reference-anchored, and only a rerunnable package or notebook can justify public-rerunnable, if the same-window channel map is inspectable and the conservation check is explicit. It still does not imply validation.
Case identity

Declare one fixed interface window.

Case IDFill in one stable case identifier.
Material / interfaceSpecify the material, interface, device class, or sample family.
Illumination spectrumSpecify wavelength, bandwidth, pulse/continuous mode, and source condition.
Bias / field conditionSpecify voltage, field, grounding, or no-bias condition.
Temperature windowSpecify operating temperature and allowed drift.
Film thickness / geometrySpecify thickness, geometry, contact area, and relevant tolerances.
Time windowSpecify acquisition window and synchronization convention.
Artifact status

Name the public object being submitted.

Public object typeSpecify table, notebook, dataset, rerun package, or other public object.
Public URLLink the public artifact or repository path.
Version or dateState the artifact version, release date, or commit/date stamp.
Maintainer / authorName who prepared the artifact.
Reproducibility statusState whether the object is reference-only, rerunnable, blocked, or partial.
Required measured inputs

Channels must be measured on one calibration map.

Quantity Symbol Unit Measurement method Uncertainty Public source
Incident optical power / photon flux
Absorbed excitation estimate
Externalized charge/current/yield
Retained charge / surface potential / carrier proxy
Thermal or non-radiative loss proxy
Conservation check

State whether the channel budget closes.

externalized + retained + dissipated = absorbed excitation +/- declared uncertainty
Failure conditions. The interface-budget claim remains candidate-only or blocked if:
  • channels cannot be measured on one fixed calibration map.
  • retained and dissipated proxies are underdetermined.
  • ordinary optics/transport/material-response language already accounts for the same budget.
  • no public notebook/table fixes the inputs before interpretation.

Use this Markdown block in a public issue, notebook, or data note.

This block is a convenience format for submitting the same-window channel map. Completing it does not validate the claim; it only makes the route inspectable.

# Interface Budget Public Artifact

## Scope rule

Filling this template does not validate an interface claim. It only makes the required channel map inspectable.

## Status effect

A completed public artifact can make the route eligible for a named evidence posture, such as public-reference-anchored, and only a rerunnable package or notebook can justify public-rerunnable, if the same-window channel map is inspectable and the conservation check is explicit. It still does not imply validation.
